Unfortunately a variety of main funding bodies have either cut our grants dramatically or rejected our bids recently. This means that this year will be our final music festival.

The Festival Team are determined that live music should remain in Darvel and we pledge to work hard in our fundraising efforts, which would result in one or two shows per year at the Town Hall.

Examples of our fundraising to date include an annual Burns Supper, smaller live shows at Darvel Bowling Club, sponsored walks, crowdfunding etc.

You have all been amazing over the years, coming to the shows, buying raffle tickets, etc and we cannot thank you enough for your support.

We are launching an appeal to ask if anyone would be prepared to give £5 per month by Standing Order - about the price of two nice coffees or a McDonalds! Think of the health benefits and the feel good factor of knowing you are helping to keep music live in Darvel!
